Founded in 1950, Pioneer Playhouse of Danville is Kentucky’s oldest outdoor theatre and it is also one of the oldest continuously operating summer stock theatres in the United States.
NORTON CENTER FOR THE ARTS
Located a few minutes’ drive from Stanford on the campus of Centre College, the Norton Center has hosted shows from entertainers like Willie Nelson, ZZ Top and Dolly Parton, as well as world-renowned orchestras and theatre groups.
Located in beautiful Renfro Valley just off Interstate 75, they proudly accept the title of “Kentucky’s Country Music Capital.” The complex is situated across 90 acres and includes two unique show theaters, two RV parks and the Renfro Valley shopping village.
