Fisher Ford House

The Fisher Ford House is a fully furnished historic guesthouse with three bedrooms and one bath on a farm in Garrard County.

The house is made up of a two-story log cabin that was once part of a school that is rumored to have taught a Kentucky governor. A Victorian addition was built in the late 1800s and gives the two downstairs bedrooms tall ceilings and light. The third bedroom is in the loft of the cabin and accessed by a ladder.

There is a king bed and a queen bed on the main floor and a full-size bed in the loft. The living area has a wood-burning stove and a queen sleeper sofa.

Fisher Ford House sits on a large farm in Northern Garrard County, not far from Marksbury Farm Market. The house is just ten minutes from Danville and 30 minutes from Lexington and works well for those who want to stay in a rural setting close to amenities.
