GROUPS
Whether you’re planning a corporate retreat or meeting, ministry retreat or reunion, writer’s retreat or other special gathering, The Stanford is designed to bring people together. We believe that shared moments deserve a setting as thoughtful as the gathering itself. From intimate gatherings to executive retreats, our team comes alongside you to create experiences that feel seamless, meaningful, and memorable. Every detail is cared for so you can focus on what matters most — your people.
Woven into the heart of historic downtown Stanford — Kentucky’s second oldest city — The Stanford is a boutique retreat where restored spaces, rustic elegance, and genuine hospitality, invite you to slow down and stay awhile. The Stanford occupies a large footprint in a charming downtown which includes eight thoughtfully designed inn rooms and a collection of six inviting guest houses and a studio style modern Loft, all within walking distance of our flexible meeting spaces, dining options, retail and spa. The Stanford is a place where hospitality feels like home, and every detail is designed with care.

MEETING SPACES
At The Stanford, gatherings take many forms — from private strategy sessions to informal brainstorming circles on cozy couches and outdoor conversations under the Kentucky sky. In addition to our meeting rooms and event spaces, we offer a variety of casual and open-air locations that make every retreat feel both refreshing and unique.
DINING OPTIONS
At The Stanford, meals are a highlight of every retreat. Dining together offers a chance to pause, linger, and connect. Our culinary teams bring Kentucky flavors to the table, from farm-to-table meals at Bluebird to Italian comfort at Mama DeVechio’s along with customized and multi-course menus. For groups, we offer private dining experiences in spaces designed to feel both welcoming and memorable. Our team will work with you to create a menu that reflects your group’s style and purpose.
